SPECIAL CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Your glove will be returned to you completely restored, along with Special Care Instructions tailored specifically for your glove's ongoing care and longer playing life.
- When we receive your glove, we assess how your glove has worn down and aged. We evaluate how you receive the ball and your glove's weak areas.
- This is different for each ball player. Everyone's hand is different and your glove conforms to the shape and subtle contours of your hand.
- Based on our evaluation, we will provide you with a list of recommended conditioners for your glove and instructions on how and when to use them to preserve your glove's shape and form.
- We will also give you a list of products to avoid which could damage your glove.
- DO NOT USE: shaving cream, petroleum products, neetsfoot oil, mink oil, lanolin, or shoe polish. They will clog the pores of the leather and build up in between the laces, causing the glove to become saturated and heavy. They will rot the leather and the laces.
- DO NOT: soak your glove in a bucket of water and stick it under your mattress.
